Talent, Talent, Talent! - Class of 2026

Day 2 of featuring my Class of 2026 seniors, and this one is all about talent.

From the very beginning of our session, I knew this shoot was going to be something special. We started off with classic, traditional portraits (because moms always deserve those timeless favorites!), but everything shifted the moment he picked up his guitar.

It wasn’t just a prop—it was truly an extension of him. The way he held it, played it, and completely relaxed into the moment made everything feel effortless and authentic. Those are the moments I’m always chasing as a photographer—the ones that feel real.

As we walked around downtown Birmingham, the session turned into something even more memorable. I got a private concert along the way, and honestly… it doesn’t get much better than that. There’s something so special about capturing someone doing what they genuinely love.

He’s heading to Alabama next year, and I have a feeling this is just the beginning for him. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see him performing on bigger stages in the future. And I’ll be right here saying, “I photographed him before he was famous.”

Sessions like this are exactly why I love what I do—getting to document this exciting season of life and the unique passions that make each senior who they are.
