FFA Senior Star! Class of 2026

Every May, I find myself leaning into one of my favorite traditions—celebrating seniors. There’s just something special about this season of life: the excitement, the uncertainty, the pride, and all the hard work that brought them here. This year, I set a goal to feature as many seniors as I can throughout the month. Ideally, one each day… but we’ll see how long I can keep up with that!

The good news? If you haven’t booked your senior session yet, you’re not too late. May tends to fill up quickly (I have six seniors scheduled just this weekend!), but I’m always willing to get creative with scheduling to make it happen. If capturing this milestone matters to you, I’ll do my best to find a time that works.

One of the things I love most about senior sessions is getting to hear each student’s story. Every senior brings something unique, and I always walk away learning something new. This particular session was no exception.

She has been incredibly involved in FFA (Future Farmers of America), an organization I had heard of but didn’t fully understand until this session. It was such a joy getting to ask questions and hear about her experiences competing at the local, state, and even national levels. Her dedication and passion were so evident, and it made the session feel even more meaningful.

We met in Montevallo for her shoot, and it could not have been a more perfect setting. The campus is absolutely beautiful—full of charm, character, and the kind of quiet scenery that photographs so effortlessly. It created the perfect backdrop to capture this exciting moment in her life.

Senior year is a milestone worth celebrating, and I’m so honored every time I get to be a small part of documenting it.
