Fall Portraits at a Beautiful New Location
Fall portrait season is in full swing, and I may have found a new favorite location.
This spot is absolutely perfect for fall. The colors, the light, the warmth of the season all came together so beautifully. It has that soft, cozy feeling that makes fall portraits feel extra special. If you are still thinking about scheduling family portraits this season, this is definitely a location I would love to use again.
This session was extra special to me because these two are my son and his beautiful fiancee.
There is something so tender and unreal about watching your son become the man God created him to be. One day you are holding his little hand, helping him tie his shoes, and praying over the person he will become. Then somehow, you blink, and he is standing in front of your camera loving the woman you prayed for long before you ever knew her name.
It is one of those moments that stops a momma in her tracks.
As a photographer, I love capturing connection. But as his mom, this session meant even more. I saw joy, tenderness, love, and the beginning of a beautiful new season in their lives. These are the kinds of photographs that remind me why I love what I do.
I have so many favorites from this session, but one of my very favorites is the close-up of their eyes. I love how different the colors are together. It feels unique and beautiful and just perfect for them.
Fall portraits are always special, but this one will forever have a little extra piece of my heart.
