Samford University Senior Session

Some senior sessions are extra meaningful, and this one was definitely one of them.

This sweet senior is headed to Samford University this fall, and she loved the idea of taking her senior portraits on the campus that will soon become her home. As we walked through the beautiful campus, I couldn't help but imagine all the memories she's about to make over the next four years. It was such a joy to capture this exciting season of her life, and I can't wait to see all that God has in store for her.

What made this session even more special is the history we share. I first met her when she was just 2½ years old, taking ballet classes with my daughter. Not long after, her mom hired me to photograph their family, and I've had the privilege of capturing their family portraits every few years since then. Watching this sweet little girl grow into such a kind, confident, and beautiful young woman has been an incredible gift.

One of the greatest joys of being a photographer is building lasting relationships with families and documenting the milestones that tell their story. From family portraits to senior year, it is an honor to preserve these memories and celebrate each new chapter.
