A Joy-Filled Senior Session at Birmingham Botanical Gardens & Mountain Brook

One of my favorite parts of being a senior photographer is getting to meet incredible young people and celebrate such an exciting season in their lives. This beautiful Class of 2026 senior was an absolute joy to photograph!

From the moment we started her session, her smile lit up every location. She has such a natural confidence, a wonderful sense of style, and a personality that radiates happiness. Some seniors need a little time to warm up in front of the camera, but she brought energy and joy from the very first photo.

We spent the evening exploring the Birmingham Botanical Gardens and downtown Mountain Brook, two of my favorite locations for senior portraits. The gardens provided beautiful natural backdrops while Mountain Brook offered charming streets and classic architecture that perfectly complemented her style. Every stop gave us something unique, and she made every image look effortless.

This session was especially meaningful to me because her family is very special to mine. Being trusted to document these milestone moments for families I care about is one of the greatest honors of my job. Watching these seniors grow into confident young adults and prepare for their futures is something I never take for granted.

As I wrap up another amazing season with the Class of 2026, I am already looking ahead to the Class of 2027! Senior year will be here before you know it, and now is the perfect time to begin planning your senior portrait experience.
